ILLARI THREADS PRO SERIES – Barbed PDO Cog Thread Sutures
ILLARI PRO 6D COG™ THREAD SUTURES use 3-Types of blunt cannulas to carefully insert an absorbable barbed thread to a deep, subcutaneous layer of skin. illari Barbed (Cog) sutures are a dual-layer cutting method of PDO suture that ensures a stronger anchoring effect of the skin than the regular slice cutting barbed threads. There are three varieties of Blunt Tip needle type available for all facial and body indications as well as for different tissue types (i.e., fibrous tissue).
ILLARI PRO 6D COG™ THREAD SUTURES have a dual purpose (fixing part and support part) so that its effect can last for a longer time than other products that have no support. Fixing part with cog is located inside of cannula, so there is no tissue damage when inserting into skin. Bi-Directional barbs in opposite directions make for superior strength within tissues.
Topical and injectable anesthesia is strongly recommended for the treatment such as Lidocaine and Epi. Swelling and edema may last 3-5 days after treatment and transient bruising may occur but is different for each patient and treatment indication.
